Course content
|
1. Regulations and standards relating to research reports. 2. Formal requirements for thesis projects. 3. Methodology of research and development work - requirements for a year-long project. 4. Act on patents, inventions and industrial designs (207/2000 Coll.). 5. Literary sources, level and their relevance to research reports. 6. Working with literature - searching in electronic databases, correct choice of keywords. 7. Methodology of preparing a year project - structure, introductory parts, annexes. 8. Abstract, resume, conclusion - meaning and structure. 9. Methodology of preparation of a year project - research, bibliographic citations (ISO 690). 10. Methodology of preparation of the year project - writing style, foreign languages, formulas, symbols, peculiarities of editing. 11. Practical exercises in presentation skills. 12. Presentation of the results of the study part of the diploma project I. 13. Presentation of the results of the study part of the diploma project II. 14. Final editing, evaluation methodology, results of year projects.
