1. Introduction and concepts from the field of CA technologies, numerically controlled machines (NC, CNC, OC) 2. History of numerically controlled machines, division of CNC machines 3. Control circuits of numerically controlled machines, position measurement 4. Coordinate systems of CNC machines, kinematics of multi-axis machines 5. Motion control systems and interpolation 6. Computer-aided programming (CAM) 7. Shop Floor Programming (SOP) 8. Manual Programming (ISO) 9. Programming of 3-axis milling machine with FANUC control system 10. Programming a 2-axis lathe with FANUC control system 11. Characteristics of cutting strategies (HSC, HPM, HFM, HSPM) 12. Development of numerically controlled machines and machining technology 13. Automated manufacturing and CNC code optimization (external specialist) 14. Excursion to a production plant (CNC machines and application possibilities)
