Course content
The subject is implemented in the form of expert lectures, excursions, seminars and workshops with the participation of companies and development interdisciplinary organizations operating mainly in the plastics industry, which is dominant in the Zlín region and employs the majority of graduates. Company experts supplement their expertise with real examples from the field of robotics and automation (ABB), FMEA analysis, AIAG and VDA, benchmarking (all Hella Autotechnik), LEAN, KAIZEN, etc. (MUBEA in the form of a workshop, WINDMÖLLER & HÖLSCHER), circular economy (Plastics Cluster, Arburg), financial balance sheets (Kovárna VIVA, Fatra) and others. During company lectures, students learn to create a professional abstract and evaluate the relevance of selected topics and their processing. They themselves actively contribute with their presentations on professional topics according to their own choice and preferences. The aim is to prepare students for contact with practice and familiarize them with current development trends in relevant fields. Subsequently, students have the opportunity to process the master thesis directly in the company environment. This preparation will facilitate their future employment on the labor market. Setting up effective cooperation between the academic and corporate spheres will also enable partners to have competitive advantages in the implementation of research, development and innovation activities.
