1. Introduction to engineering technology 2. Foundry technology 3. Precision casting methods 4. Metal forming 5. Bulk forming 6. Sheet metal forming 7. Mechanical cutting of materials by shearing 8. Joining of materials by riveting, soldering and gluing 9. Joining of materials by welding 10. Thermal cutting of materials 11. Machining and technological conditions 12. Conventional machining with defined cutting edge geometry 13. Conventional precision and finishing machining methods 14. Nonconventional machining methods Two excursions to local manufacturing companies are planned for full-time students during the course. These excursions focus on the content of the course and serve to familiarize with the production cycle.
