Course content
1. Introduction. 2. Projection bases. 3. Technical documentation and its classification. 4. Views, simplified view. 5. Cuts and sections. 6. Dimensioning. 7. Surface quality specification. 8. Working drawings accuracy - tolerance of dimensions. 9. Shape accuracy - geometric tolerance. 10. Connections - the division and basic concepts of threads, bolt, rivet joints, welds. 11. Standard machine components and connections - the shaft, necking, spline shaft and hub. 12. Standard machine components and connections - connecting pins, pins, cotter pin, insurance rings, wedges, keys. 13. Standard machine components and connections - bearings, pulleys, gears, chain wheels, springs. 14. A review of the curriculum essential for the credit test.
