Course content
1. Introduction, history and importance of quality and metrology, basic concepts. 2. Legislative of Czech metrology, standardization, metrology, testing. 3. Distribution of metrology, national, legal, business. 4. Management systems of measurement, basic terms in metrology, characterization and distribution of gauges. 5. Processes and methods of measurement, accuracy and errors of measurement uncertainty. 6. Quality management systems, trends in the quality management. 7. Concepts of the standards of ISO, TQM, sectoral standards. 8. Tools and methods to determine quality. 9. Methods of monitoring processes in the measurement of quality management systems. 10. Statistical methods in the quality management and industrial practice.
