Course content
1. Basic raw materials and construction materials. 2. Properties of structural materials. 3. Manufacturing processes of materials processing. 4. Production processes in plastics processing. 5. Production processes in elastomeric materials processing. 6. Production processes in composite materials processing. 7. Principles of selection of structural materials. 8. Principles of selection of processing technology. 9. Production techniques and technology. 10. Processing conditions of production technologies. 11. Production machines and tools. 12. Recycling of construction materials. 13. Economic aspects of production processes. 14. Future development in the field of manufacturing processes. The aim is to teach students for perform short technical reports, such as a guide to find technical information, its analysis and synthesis. Seminars focus on individual independent work, presentations and activities involving specified topics of the subject field. They may be performed in Czech, Slovak or English. The purpose is to present technical contribution on a specific topic: a) prepare own technical information on the chosen topic (i.e. area of interest, technical innovations - up to 10 min.) b) prepare technical information (sample thesis - literary part - 8-10 pages of text) Instructions: Follow the principles and rules for bachelor theses - Part I Theory, FIG. , Math. relations, tables, graphs. References, Power Point slides. Submission: - File: name - Hard copy - Power point presentation - Submit it to e-mail mbednarik@ft.utb.cz, subject: surname.name_topic of work A list of the topics: - Materials of construction. - The construction products, machinery. - Processing technology of metals and polymers. - Energy production, use in the production processes. - Progressive and special production technology. - Robotics, mechanization. - Industrial recycled material as a raw material.
