Course content
1. Revision of design in CATIA. 2. Workplace of modulus Assembly design (blocks). Creation of blocks and sub-blocks. Insertion of parts and blocks. Manipulation. Constrains FIX, COINCIDENCE. 3. Core and cavity design of injection molds by Boolean operations and Core & Cavity modulus. 4. Constrains CONTACT, OFFSET, ANGLE, and QUICK. Feature application in a single block. 5. Insertion of normalized parts from library. Constrains and degrees of freedom analysis. Cross-sections of 3D blocks. 6. TEST no. 1. Design and assemble of blocks and sub-blocks from real and normalized parts. 7. Drafting modulus. Drawing creation, insertion of frames and stamps, settings and edition of drawing formats. Insertion and creation of views from 3D. 8. Creation of cross-sections and intersections. Dimensioning. Dimension settings and edition. 9. Details creation, insert of texts, marks and symbols. Balloon generation. 10. Revision of all known features on the given example. 11. TEST no. 2. Drawing with dimensions from 3D model. 12. Parts list generation. EXPLODE. 13. Digital Mockup (DMU Navigator, DMU Kinematics) 14. TEST no. 3 - Final. Design of a block and its drawing.
