Course content
1. Explanation of basic concepts, properties of liquids. 2. Phase interfaces. 3. Wettability, wetting angle. 4. Heterogeneous systems: foams, emulsions. 5. Heterogeneous systems: suspensions, aerosols, lyosols. 6. Physical properties of surfactants: solubility, micelle formation, critical micellar concentration. 7. Solubilization, detergents. 8. Anionic surfactants: carboxyl group. 9. Anionic surfactants: sulfates. 10. Anionic surfactants: sulfonates. 11. Cationic surfactants. 12. Amphoteric surfactants. 13. Nonionic surfactants. 14. Bridging surfactants.
