Course content
|
1. Morphological and physiological differences of human skin in some localities of the body. 2. Basal biological and physiological functions of the skin, their importance for the choice of appropriate external treatment and the use of cosmetics. 3. Basic active ingredients and excipients of external drugs and cosmetics. Mechanisms of resorption of active ingredients. 4. External drugs and cosmetics liquid, powder, liquid powders, pastes. 5. External drugs and cosmetics: ointments, emulsions (creams), foam sprays, gels. 6. The right ways to apply external therapy. Transdermal drug delivery. Problems of liposomes. 7. Specifics of external therapy and use of cosmetics in the face, neck, hairy part of the head and in landscapes of wet sparrows. 8. The issue of influencing excessive sweating and increased sensitivity and irritability of human skin. Washing and cleansing healthy and diseased skin. 9. Principles of skin care after corrective dermatological procedures, burns, frostbite, exposure to chemicals and radiation. 10. Current issues of photoprotection. Possibilities of physical therapy of skin diseases. 11. Basic concepts of immunology (antigens, antibodies, receptors, histocompatibility complex, adhesion molecules, cellular and humoral immunity, regulation of immunity). 12. Allergies, atopy, anaphylaxis, allergic diseases. 13. Problems of autoimmunity, causes of autoimmune diseases and possibilities of their treatment. 14. Problems of primary and secondary immunodeficiency, treatment options.
