Course content
- Cosmetic products (CP) - Czech and European legislation. - Sampling and sample preparation. - Volumetric analysis in testing of CP. - Physico-chemical methods for analysis of CP. - Chromatographic methods I, liquid chromatography. - Chromatographic methods II, gas chromatography. - Processing of chromatographic data. - Optical methods - classification, interactions of samples with radiation. - Refractometry, polarimetry and turbidimetry. - Spectroscopic methods (UV, IR). - Methods for determining the safety of CP (toxicology requirements and biocompatibility). - Alternative methods to testing on animals. - Methods for testing of fats and oils. - Testing of cosmetics.
