Course content
1. Safety of work in the laboratory. 2. Tools for work in the leather laboratory (cutting knives, awls, lasting pincers, etc.). 3. Knives for manual cutting, types, grinding. 4. Machines and equipment in the leather laboratory. 5. Materials for leather production, practical examples. 6. Gluing technology and types of adhesives. 7. Finishing of edges, coloring of edges, polishing of edges. 8. Principle of riveting, types of rivets. 9. Flat sewing machines. 10. Column sewing machines. 11. Shoulder sewing machines. 12. Threads and needles, upper thread and lower thread guiding system, needle mechanism, practical training. 13. Types of belts, belt fittings.
