Course content
|
1. Introduction to plastic technology. 2. Preparatory technological procedures. 3. Compounding of construction and technological requirements for processing equipment. 4. Plastics preparation technology with respect to properties and quality of prepared materials. 5. Profiles extrusion / coextrusion, construction and technological requirements of processing equipment. 6. Specific extrusion technologies. 7. Specific technologies for blow molding of plastic products. 8. Specific technologies of film blowing. 9. Production of biaxially oriented foils. 10. Production of fibers, nonwovens. 11. Production of lightweight products and polymer foams. 12. Construction injection and technological requirements of processing processes. 13. Specific technologies for injection products. 14. PIM technology. 15. Finishing technology of plastic lamination processes, application of inhomogeneous layers, printing. In the laboratories, students will practically test the influence of processing parameters on selected technological processes and the resulting utility properties of products. 1. Compounding. 2. Injection molding. 3. Film blowing. 4. Film extrusion. 5. Thermoforming. 6. Spinning.
