Course content
- Overview of antimicrobial substances applicable to the treatment of polymeric materials. - Mechanism of action of antimicrobial substances. Biological differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms. - Mechanisms of microbial resistance. - Methods of evaluating the antimicrobial effectiveness of substances and modified materials. - Test cultures of microorganisms. - Formation of microbial biofilms.
