  • Julinová Markéta, doc. Ing. Ph.D.
  • Dvořáčková Marie, Ing. Ph.D.
Course content
Laboratory exercises are realized in blocks with individual blocks focusing on the following topics: 1. Determination of neutralization capacity, buffer capacity in water and suspensions. 2. Dewatering of biological sludge, evaluation of flocculant efficiency based on CST test. 3. Clarification using inorganic coagulants. 4. Removal of organic compounds from wastewater adsorption (kinetics of processes, equilibrium). 5. Analysis of contaminated soils and sludge. Determination of NEL in water and soil samples (FTIR spectroscopy). 6. Determination of potential toxicity of substances affecting activated sludge based on respiratory activity of biological aerobic sludge. 7. Removal of organic compounds from wastewater by ozonization.
