Course content
1. Current state and development of waste management in the Czech Republic and around the world. 2. Classification of waste, evaluation of hazardous properties of waste. 3. Hierarchy of waste management, methods of waste recovery and disposal. 4. Landfills, processes on landfills, landfill gas utilization, landfill closing and reclamation. 5. Energy recovery of waste, waste incineration, flue gas cleaning, secondary waste from waste incineration. 6. Physico-chemical treatment of waste, stabilization / solidification of waste. 7. Biological waste processing, composting, biogas stations. 8. Municipal waste, collection, sorting and collection of municipal waste. 9. Industrial waste. 10. Waste sludge management. 11. Packaging management. 12. Removal of old environmental burdens. 13. Economy of waste management. 14. Best available techniques.
