Course content
1. Determination of DNA concentration using quantitative PCR (qPCR). 2. Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of proteins in denaturing medium of sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS PAGE). 3. Preparative gel chromatography of proteins. 4. Isolation of proteins using cation exchange chromatography. 5. Determination of acetate and chloride anions using capillary isotachophoresis. 6. Determination of vitamin C in citrus fruits using isocratic HPLC method. 7. Determination of vitamin B2 in animal products using gradient HPLC method. 8. Determination of ethanol in alcoholic beverages using gas chromatography. 9. Qualitative determination of volatile compounds in complex food matrix by HeadSpace-GC-MS method. 10. Preparative separation of the mixture using HPLC and characterization of isolated components.
