Course content
1. Basic characterization of polymer waste and places of their origin. 2. Mechanical recycling of polymers. 3. Energy recovery of wastes from polymeric materials. 4. Some questions about landfilling of polymer waste. 5. Polyolefins. 6. Recycling of vinyl thermoplastics. 7. Recycling and disposal of PVC and PET. 8. Specific issues of biopolymers. 9. Grinding and crushing of rubber and its use. 10. Rubber regeneration. 11. Thermosets. 12. Recycling of polymer composite materials. 13. Polymers in electrical engineering and automotive. 14. Problems of packaging waste.
