Oxidation of hydrocarbon derivatives. 5. Introduction of halogen atoms into molecules - addition of hydrogen halides, halogens and hypohalogens to C = C, substitution of the hydrogen atom by a halogen atom. 6. Introduction of halogen atoms into molecules - substitution of hydroxyl group, oxygen atom in carbonyl group and metal atoms by halogen atoms, replacing a halogen atom with an atom of another halogen. 7. Nitration, nitrosation and sulfonation. 8. Alkylation and acylation of aromatic compounds. 9. Preparation of organometallic compounds, transformation and synthetic utilization especially of organomagnesium, organolithium and organo-zinc compounds. 10. Diazotization, diazonium substitution, coupling reactions, C-C bond formation. 11. Eliminations. 12. Knoevenagel reaction, P-ylides, Wittig reaction, Horner - Wadsworth - Emmons reaction. 13. Darzens reaction, S-ylides and their use in the preparation of oxirane derivatives. 14. Protecting groups in organic synthesis. Protection of hydroxyl, carbonyl, carboxyl and amino groups.
