Course content
1. Entrance test. 2. Definition of basic terms, periodic table of elements, basic quantities and their units. 3. Basic principles of inorganic nomenclature, nomenclature of simple binary compounds, hydroxides and acids. 4. Nomenclature of cations and anions, amount of substance. 5. Nomenclature of simple salts, types of chemical formulas. 6. Mass fraction, preparation of solutions, compilation of simple equations (neutralization, precipitation) and their quantification. 7. Molar concentration. 8. Calculation of equations, calculation of yield. 9. Introduction to organic chemistry, basic principles of systematic nomenclature, nomenclature of alkanes and cycloalkanes. 10. Alkanes, cycloalkanes simple examples of positional isomers, alkenes, alkynes, aromatic hydrocarbons (simple nomenclature). 11. Derivatives of hydrocarbons - general characteristics, basic formulas, simple nomenclature. 12. Derivatives of hydrocarbons - general characteristics, basic formulas, simple nomenclature. 13. Revision of the discussed topics. 14. Credit test.
