Course content
- Structure and function of digestive tract. - Structure and function of related organs and systems. - Principles of regulation of digestive tract motility and secretion. - Physiology of digestion and resorption. - Nerve and hormonal regulation of metabolism. - Nutrition of population of the Czech Republic, accomplishments and deficiencies, possibilities of its interaction. - Monitoring and assessing of health - nutritional condition of the population. - Rationalization of nutrition. - Nutrition of chosen groups of the population. - Nutrition and prevention of health disturbances. - Main sorts of foodstuff and their nutritional characteristic. - Alternative nourishment. - Role of dietary suplements in nutrition. - New trends in human nutrition.
