Course content
1. Structure and function of digestive tract. 2. Structure and function of related organs and systems. 3. Regulation of digestive tract motility and secretion. 4. Physiology of digestion and resorption. 5. Nerve and hormonal regulation of metabolism. 6. Nutrition of the Czech population, strenghts and deficiencies, possible influences. 7. Monitoring and assessing health and nutritional condition of the population. 8. Rationalization of nutrition. 9. Nutrition of selected population groups. 10. Nutrition and prevention of health disorders. 11. Main food groups and their nutritional characteristic. 12. Alternative nourishment. 13. Dietary suplements in nutrition. 14. New trends in human nutrition.
