- Definition of the basic terms polymer system, biological activity, overview of the fundamental polymer characterization techniques. - Interactions between living systems and chemical and physical factors. - Toxicological aspects of the selected groups of chemical compounds. - Antimicrobial agents and monitoring of their efficiency. - Technology of polymer antimicrobial modifications. - Applications of antimicrobial polymer systems. - Biomaterials and biocompatible polymer systems. - Resorbable polymers. - Polymer systems based on biodegrdadable polymers for non-medical use. - Methodology of biodegradability testing, legislation. - Bioactive polymers for food packaging. - Water-soluble polymers and their 3D structures. - Inorganic bioactive polymers. - Smart polymer systems.
