Course content
- Environmental view of the life cycle of products or services, sustainability, environmental management tools - Principles of LCA, legislative framework - LCA method - product system, processes, material and energy flows, 4 phases of LCA - LCA studies (types, presentations, visualizations) and software for LCA - Defining the objectives and scope of LCA (function and functional unit, flows, system boundaries) - Inventory and inventory analysis (data collection, compilation of system diagram, allocation) - Life cycle impact assessment (impact category, impact category indicator, characterization models) - Global impacts of anthropogenic activities in the context of LCA - Local impacts of anthropogenic activities in the context of LCA - Databases and other resources and their use - Interpretation and review of LCA - Life cycle assessment in the context of cost and social sustainability (life cycle costing LCC and social-LCA) - "Green" marketing, environmental declarations and labeling, principles of eco-design

Knowledge
The student defines an environmental perspective on the life cycle of products or services, sustainability, environmental management tools, LCA principles and their legislative framework, processes, material and energy flows, goals and scope of LCA, inventory analysis, life cycle impacts, global and local activities in the context of LCA , integration and review of LCA, principles of ecodesign and the issue of environmental declarations and labelling.
