Course content
Annotation of the Human Resources in Management section: Internal sources of modern enterprise development, technocratic and humano-centric concepts of management. Definition of personnel management in the modern enterprise management, transactional and transformational management point of view. Human Resources Management as part of the strategic management level. Managerial personnel management concept, the basic tools of managerial personnel management. Directions of advanced personnel management: talent management, diversity management, age management, knowledge management, Industry 4.0 Personnel management and the corporate culture development in the modern enterprise management. Enterprise social development, development of labour relations, social responsible management (SRM, CSR, CSV). Annotation of the Trends in Management section: From operational to strategic planning and management in companies and multinational companies. Strategic management of the company and its performance as a planning and management system based on the advanced Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Strategic management of business performance in the context of globalization, digitization and sustainability. Strategic business management in the context of the concept of socially responsible CSR management - economic, social and environmental aspects of business. Modern methods and concepts of management and the scope of its use in business entities at home and in the world. Methods and concepts of management and its impact on the performance of the company and its processes: management according to KPIs and management concepts based on operational and strategic controlling. Managerial and executive information support for strategic business management based on the knowledge information system Business Intelligence and Data mining. Annotation of the Specific Forms of Management section: Theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of modern specific forms of management - Business Process Management (BPM). Students gain a more detailed overview of the application of BPM. This now allows companies to make rapid changes and to have control over the processes throughout the value chain. Students will be acquainted with the practical possibilities of application of process management components, process mapping and creation and use of process maps for evaluating the cost of processes and increasing their efficiency, continuous process improvement and measuring their performance and information technology to support processes, etc. Furthermore, in connection with quality management within the tools for quality management and QMS, regardless of market locations or segments. Annotation of the Qualitative Research in Management section: Objectives and outputs in the field of managemet. Design of qualitative research. Data collection in qualitative research. Analysis and presentation of qualitative data in management. Use of the expert methods for strategic benchmarking. Expert methods and their importance in the individual phases of the construction of the balanced scorecard system. Application of the Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) in study of the fundamental principles performance of companies. Use of AHP in companies benchmarking. Linking the AHP methods and MIC-MAC (Godet 1986; Matrice Impacts Croisés Multiplication Appliqués ? un Classification) - practical example. Use of the MIC-MAC structural analysis in the processes of performance evaluation of companies (structural analytical matrix creation process in the balanced scorecard system - practical example, use of LIPSOR MIC-MAC software). Application of management methods of creativity in the AHP and MIC-MAC processes and their usability for systems measuring companies performance

Výstupní znalosti (student prokazuje tyto znalosti): Student ovládá základní komponenty funkčního a procesního řízení, rozeznává rozdíly mezi nimi i při jejich použití. Má znalosti základních komponent procesního řízení pro podniky služeb i výroby. The student has knowledge of the basic components of process management for service and manufacturing companies. In addition, the graduate of the course can: - define the basic terminology of the whole subject. - describe the process of building a process-oriented organisation - define the principle of process management - explain the essence of business process classification - express the process of introducing process management as well as the elements of the company's process model - outline and explain the process map - draw and discuss a process environment diagram - use methods for identifying business processes - discuss the "7S" framework of critical success factors of a company - classify according to basic criteria the software tools supporting process management and modelling - draw the process triangle of Edwards and Peppard - interpret Porter's value chain model or Professor Scheer's Y model - explain the Balanced Scorecard value chain - formulate the basic pillars of Total Quality Management - characterise the powers and responsibilities of the process owner - express the structure of a Quality Management System - understand the basic local quality management tools - explain the structure of the ISO 900X standards and certification according to them - divide the ISO 9001 processes (using the criteria table for dividing processes) - evaluate the use of the QS 9000 and VDA standards - analyse the level of the company's orientation towards continuous process improvement - identify the quality loop - calculate total productivity, partial productivity, express standard productivity and productivity index and explain the links between them - interpret customer satisfaction - explain the essence of Business Process Excellence, i.e. competitiveness based mainly on exceptional process mastery
