The course covers the following areas of information technology in tourism: 1. Information technology and tourism 2. Reservation systems in tourism 3. Information technology in transport 4. Information technology in hotels 5. Information technology in hospitality 6. Information technology in travel agencies 7. Website and search engine optimization 8. Discount portals and their importance for tourism 9. Social media in tourism 10. Mobile technologies in tourism and mobile marketing 11. Use of information technology in CRM and marketing research 12. Smart business skills 13. Trends in information technology in tourism

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecturing, Monologic (Exposition, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (Discussion, conversation, brainstorming), Methods for written tasks (e.g. comprehensive exams, written tests), Exercises on PC
