This course explores the nature of ethics and provides an understanding of the nature of ethics, the role the ethics plays in business, and the most commonly encountered ethical dilemmas in the life of a manager. The aim is to provide students with the knowledge that will help them make practical ethical decisions in managerial work. The course will clarify the essence and significance of a manager´s ethical attitude in the frame of his/her decision process. The course is designed to provide an overview of the role of the manager in shaping the ethics of the organization. This responsibility, to create and sustain the ethical organizational culture, is a fundamental task of every level of management. The course focuses on different strategies, methods, tools, and practices for managing ethics of the business organization internally and externally.
