Course content
- The nature of business and management research. - Formulating and clarifying the research topic. - Information sources, reviewing the literature. - Publication activities, structure of the scientific paper. - Publication models (traditional, open access, predatory journals) - Evaluation of research and development in the Czech Republic. - Financial sources for research, grant systems. - Intellectual property rights, commercialization of research results. - Research philosophies. - Research approaches. - Research design. - Research methods. - Selecting samples, power-sample analysis. - Using secondary data. - Collecting primary data. - Analysis of quantitative data. - Analysing of qualitative data. - Writing and presenting dissertation. - Ethical issues of research.
