Value-based management, key indicators of corporate value. Risk and return, portfolio theory, CAPM. Investment decision-making. Working capital management. Long-term and short-term financing. Capital structure theory, capital structure optimization, costs of capital. Global firms' financing, availability, and costs of capital. Risk management. Utilization of tools of financial analysis, financial planning and controlling for performance management. Corporate valuation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring.
