Main topics: - Introduction, definition of the subject and nomenclature of the subject "Applied Population Protection". - Local evacuation plan (preparation, processing, presentation - as a semester project). - Meteorology, detection of ground weather data. - Spreading of pollutants in the environment, models of spreading and leakage of pollutants. - Individual and collective protection, resources and materials, improvised means. - Hygienic cleansing of people, means, methods in the conditions of the Fire Rescue Service. - Fire protection, fire fighting equipment, extinguishing agents. - Safe stay in contaminated area, regime measures and their fulfillment. - Humanitarian aid for affected populations in emergencies. - Preparation, organization, execution and evaluation of tactical and screening exercises. - Preparation and maintenance of working documentation (textual, graphical, tabular), processing forecasts of the development of the situation. - Selected Foreign Experience in the Protection of Population (Canada, USA). - Practical training at the Municipality of Zlín in the area of population protection. - Practical training in the professional company EGO Zlín in the field of population protection, including the use of PPE resources.
