Course content
1. Introduction, a potential source of contamination and methods of environmental components, definitions, basic concepts. 2. Sources of contamination by chemicals, hazardous industrial pollutants, bacteriological (biological) means and toxins. 3. Sources of radioactive contamination. 4. Detection of contamination of the environment. 5. Methods and technical means for detection and identification of chemical contamination. Chemical sensing devices and control. 6. Methods and technical means to detect and monitor radioactive contamination. Radiation survey instruments and controls. 7. Organization of research and long-term environmental monitoring in terms of contamination. 8. Decontamination of the environment, definitions, basic concepts. 9. Methods and procedures for decontamination, the implementation of the principles used substances and mixtures. 10. Decontamination of buildings, equipment and material. 11. Decontamination of persons. 12. Organization decontamination after use WMD. 13. Special Equipment for decontamination. 14. Organization decontamination and remediation of serious environmental accidents.
