Course content
- Basic concepts in the field of weapons and ammunition and ballistics, instruction on occupational safety. - Cold weapons, defence means and mechanical weapons, principles of use, their principle and composition. - Basic legal framework in the field of weapons and ammunition and their use of firearms in practice. Basics of weapon handling. The fundamental division of manual wild systems. - Manual planar systems and their mechanics, determination and possible future development. - Ammunition, its types, purpose, composition, and possible future development. - Current trends in weapons and ammunition. - Explosives and improvised explosive systems, their mechanics and essential characteristics. - The primary division of ballistics and basic concepts in this area. - Internal ballistics, its processes and research methods. Transitional and external ballistics, its processes and research methods. Ballistic curve calculation. - Final ballistics with a focus on wounded ballistics. - Experimental wounding ballistics, its methods and applications of ballistics in practice. - Personal protection against cold and firearms. - Protection of persons and technology against firearms in IRS units. - Basic concepts of pyrotechnics and pyrotechnics used by IRS components.
