Course content
1) Theoretical foundations of extraordinary events and crisis situations. Basic terminology, their division and description with a focus on the field of operational accidents; 2) Theoretical foundations of extraordinary events and crisis situations. Basic terminology, their division and description with a focus on the field of industrial accidents; 3) Theoretical foundations of modeling, basic principles, model definitions and simulations (Theory of graphs and their application in modeling; 4) Selected problems of graph theory, finding the shortest path, flows in a graph; 5) Modeling in practice and its application in the field of environmental security; 6) Familiarization with the Terex tool for modeling the consequences of MU - basic user functions, purpose of the tool, methods of using the results in the field of environmental safety; 7) Theoretical foundations of monitoring; 8) Possibilities of monitoring, detection, reconnaissance, identification - basic principles and terms; 9) Technical means of VDS monitoring; 10) VDS application, image processing and evaluation, image analysis; 11) Technical means of monitoring PZTS, EPS and other selected elements; 12) Monitoring of the environment (radiological situation, water and air quality), monitoring of selected MUs in the territory of the Czech Republic and the EU; 13) Methods of application of means of monitoring in environmental safety; 14) Verification of acquired knowledge, independent written work, assessment of work during the semester. Possible implementation of lectures in the field.
