Course content
1. The nature and principles of problems of modeling production and logistic processes. 2. Modeling - definitions and basic concepts. Modeling and simulation relationship. 3. Definition and classification of production processes. 4. Modeling of logistic processes, basic elements and structures. 5. Process map of production logistic process. 6. Methodology of production and logistic processes simulation. 7. Waste, Loss and Lean Removal Tools (5S, TPM, AM, SMED, OEE, LCIA, AMP, Poka-Yoke, Andon). 8. Modern methods of increasing the performance of companies SIX SIGMA, LEAN and TOC. 9. Theory of constraints in the practice of modeling production and logistics processes. 10. Comparison of bottleneck management systems in manufacturing and logistics processes. 11. 2D / 3D visualization tools in logistics. 12. Simulation of production and logistic processes. 13. Modeling of production and logistic processes with support of selected SW (WITNESS, ARENA, Factor / AIM, DELMIA QUEST, ExtendSim, Tecnomatix Plant Simulation) 14. Practical case studies of modeling and simulation in the area of optimization of production and logistic processes.
