Course content
Logistics as a system, its management and goals. Logistics systems in purchasing. Supplier selection and evaluation techniques. Specifics of logistics in production, typology of production processes and their management Logistics systems and technologies in production. Inventory control systems and warehouse management. Logistics systems in sales and marketing. Information systems for managing logistics processes. Measurement and evaluation of logistics costs. Logistic audit and controlling. Quality and approaches to its management in logistics systems. Measuring and evaluating the performance of logistics systems and processes.
