Course content
Main topics: Introduction to the course, terminology of workplace safety. Historical development of occupational health and safety. Health and Safety at Work safety of machinery. Causal dependence of the formation of a negative phenomenon, its structure and relation to elimination (minimization) of risk. Types of danger / threat affecting a person at work. Workplace ergonomics. Noise in the workplace. Workplace vibration. Workplace microclimatic conditions. Psychosocial factors affecting people at work. Hazardous substances in the workplace. Workplace risk assessment. The most risky work from the point of view of possible accidents and occupational diseases. Trends in workplace safety.
