Course content
Taught topics: 1. Introduction to the study of the subject, classification of risk assessment methods; approaches to data collection and evaluation in risk assessment. 2. Modes, Consequences and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). 3. Analysis of layers of protection (LOPA). 4. Event Tree Analysis (ETA). 5. Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). 6. Cause and Effect Analysis (CCA). 7. Methods for human factor failure analysis, hierarchical task analysis (HTA). 8. Sensitivity analysis and uncertainty analysis. 9. Social risk assessment methods. 10. Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) in risk assessment and treatment. 11. Use of multi-criteria decision-making methods in risk assessment and treatment. 12. Methods of assessing health risks. 13. Methods of risk assessment of highly improbable events.
