Course content
1. The phenomenon of crisis in human life, Crisis typology, Crisis state 2. Influence of the burden on the individual's psyche. 3. Defense mechanisms and coping strategies 4. The concept of crisis intervention, definitions, objectives 5. Efficient communication to eliminate risks 6. Empathic listening and identification of the needs of individuals affected by an extraordinary event 7. Basic principles, principles, models of crisis intervention 8. Types of crisis intervention and their use 9. Psychological first aid, psychosocial help. Demobilization, defusing, debriefing and post-traumatic care system among IRS members. 10. Crowds and mass behavior, panic caused by catastrophic events. Model situations to deal with dyspnoea and panic. Crisis intervention. 11. Suicidal behavior. Psychological impacts in selected crisis situations. Practice of access to psychologically disturbed individuals and suicide. 12. Work with aggressive individuals 13.
