Main topics: - Introduction to the study of the subject (acquaintance of students with the structure of the subject, conditions for awarding credit and the course of the exam), terminology of risk management, basics of probability theory; - Measurement and expression of risk, risk metrics, general scheme of risk management, methods of collection and interpretation of input data; - Principles and methods of risk identification; - Principles of risk analysis, Fault Tree analysis (FTA); - Event Tree Analysis (ETA); - Principles and procedures of risk evaluation; - Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA); - Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP); - Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA); - Natural disaster risk assessment principles and procedures; - Violent crime risk assessment policies and procedures; - Health risk assessment principles and procedures; - Risk management policies and procedures; - Uncertainty in the risk assessment process.
