Course content
- Introduction to the subject. Environmental policy in the Czech Republic - historical overview. - National environmental policy. - Basic definitions of the environmental legislation. - Environment and its constituents. - Anthropogenic and natural hazards risks, - Categorization of risks. - Atmospheric processes and related risks, - Geological processes and related risks. - Hydrological proceses and related risks. - Biological risks. - Chemical risks, - Information systems and accidental situation. - Rights and rules of natural and legal persons in the process of prevention and elimination of ecological accidents. - Environmental risks in the Czech Republic.

Student defines historical consequences of the environmental policy, legal use of environmental protection principles in the Czech republic and EU, basic constituents of the environment, anthropogenic and natural risks and their categorization, principles of atmospherical and geological phenomena, biological and chemical risks, information systems for accidental situations, and legislation related to their prevention and elimination.
