Course content
1) Historical geography and environmental history - importance in managing environmental risks 2) Source areas of civilization (environmental and historical-geographical aspects) 3) Cultural diffusion as a phenomenon of historical geography and environmental history (dissemination of innovation and ideas in space) 4) Landscape as a phenomenon of historical geography and environmental history I (natural / cultural landscape, dimensions, structures and types of cultural landscape) 5) Landscape as a phenomenon of historical geography and environmental history II (sources / study information database, reconstruction methods) 6) Landscape as a phenomenon of historical geography and environmental history III (prognosis of cultural landscape development, identification and visualization of environmental risks in cultural landscape) 7) Landscape as a phenomenon of historical geography and environmental history IV (sketch of the development of cultural landscape with an emphasis on the territory of Moravia and the Moravian-Slovak borderland) 8) Population: historical-geographic and environmental-historical aspects I (development, population density with an emphasis on the territory of Moravia and the Moravian-Slovak borderlands) 9) Population: Historical-Geographical and Environmental-Historical Aspects II (Structure of the Population with an Emphasis in the Territory of Moravia and the Moravian-Slovak Border Region) 10) Housing: historical-geographic and environmental-historical aspects (development and division of settlements, their morphogenetic types with an emphasis on the territory of Moravia and the Moravian-Slovak borderlands) 11) Integrated approach to cultural landscape research in terms of historical geography and environmental history I (model areas: Trenčianska kotlina basin and the margins of adjacent mountains, Nováky and their background SK, Mostecko CZ) 12) Integrated Approach to Cultural Landscape Research in terms of Historical Geography and Environmental History II (Model Areas: Veľký Bánhedeš, Senváclav H, SRB Pivnica, Butín RO) 13) Integrated Approach to Cultural Landscape Research in terms of Historical Geography and Environmental History III (model territory: Nitrianska stolica SK, reconstruction of a selected component of the historical landscape according to the work of Matthyas Bel from the 18th century). 14) Integrated Approach to Cultural Landscape Research in terms of Historical Geography and Environmental History IV (model area: Nitrianska stolica SK, reconstruction of a selected component of the historical landscape according to the work of Mathias Bel from the 18th century).
