Course content
1. Introduction to the study. Scientific understanding of global change 2. Ecosystem services. Environmental risks and security 3. Biodiversity and its threats 4. Climate phenomena and their causes 5. Climate change trends in Europe, Czech Republic, climate change risks 6. Planetary boundaries 7. Basic principles of adaptation measures, impact of changes on selected areas of the economy 8. Water management and water regime in the landscape 9. Forestry. Agriculture 10. Urbanised landscape 11. Communication strategies, public participation 12. Legislation and strategic documents of the EU, the Czech Republic, economic aspects 13. Thematic lecture (excursion)
