- characteristics of media perception and its barriers; - characteristics of the audience, its behaviour, types of audience; - attention to media types; - basic level of cognition-feeling, perception, imagination; - understanding of media content; - media education; - emotions and feelings as stimuli and reactions to media content; - perception of media statements; - media effects and effectiveness; - Models and types of media effects; - factors influencing media effects: time and frequency of exposure to media, media product (content, form); - factors influencing media effects: situational factors, personality of the media product intermediary, personality of the recipient; - current research and topics.
