Course content
1. Psychology of audience: types, ways of media consumption, characteristics 2. Psychology of media perception 3. Understanding media content 4. Perception of media messages in relation to audience types 5. Media effects on the psyche of the recipient: characteristics of media effects, media effects and effectiveness, models of effects 6. Types of media effects: physiological, cognitive, communicative effects of media 7. Types of media effects: value effects of media (effects of media on attitudes), instrumental (organizational) effects of media-behavioral effects of media 8. Factors influencing media effects - time and frequency of contact with media, media product (content, form), situational factors, personality of the mediator of the media product, personality of the recipient 9. Framing used in the media field 10. Media education: characteristics, objectives, implementation 11. Social attitudes in media communication 12. Negative social attitudes in media communication: stereotype, prejudice, discrimination 13. Current topics
