The student has knowledge about the most common polymer materials and processing techniques available. He/she is well informed in the relevant physical properties, and application possibilities, overview of products and trends within EU. He/she is well informed in the main processing methods as injection moulding (including powder injection moulding), extrusion, blow moulding, pressing and finishing operations. He/she understands the connections between the possibilities of individual production technologies considering the size, shape complexity and accuracy of the polymer products.
