Course content
Surface structures Plane curves and their artistic use Lines, circles and arcs Conic sections, their geometric constructions Other special curves, their visual properties Their practical use in design and architecture Surface structures - rasters Surface structures - grids, mosaics Tile patterns Area division, periodic and aperiodic mosaics Combinatorics of formations in the area in general from an artistic point of view Interference patterns (moiré), Lisajouss patterns, Chladni patterns Interference patterns created by overlapping surface and relief structures
