Course content
Course content: 1. The social atmosphere after entering the new century. 2. The new model of production, distribution and sale of fashion - fast fashion. 3. Designers vs. fashion chains. 4. BIS collections, massclusivity and demi-couture. 5. Fashion design in the first decade of the 21st century. 6. Nicolas Ghesqui?re, Hedi Slimane, Alber Elbaz. 7. Sportswear as a technological accelerator of fashion design. 8. Streetwear as a stylistic accelerator of fashion design. 9. Information technology as a marketing accelerator of fashion design. 10. Technology vs. creativity in fashion design. 11. The new generation of designers in major fashion houses and brands - Raf Simons, Sarah Burton, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Pierpaolo Piccioli. 12. Transparency, sustainability and local production as a strong trend in fashion design.
