Course content
Course content: 1. Historical situation in Europe at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, industrial revolution, industrialization 2. The French Revolution, the dress of revolutionary groups and their characteristics 3. the Empire and its features in women's and men's clothing, 1804-1815, surviving garments 4. French and English clothing, 1790-1820, nomenclature, composition, pattern construction, materials, technology, surviving garments 5. Historical situation in Europe 1831-1850, technical progress 6. European fashion 1820-1840, romantic style 1825-1838 in the Biedermeier period, extant garments 7. Characteristics of the period 1850-1914 in Europe, development processes of the second half of the 19th century in Europe: the so-called second industrial revolution and factory production 8. Textile production - new textile materials, synthetic dyes, industrial production, patents 9. The development of European clothing from 1845-1890, the period of the so-called second Rococo 1940s-1970s, the tourniquets 10. Personality of Charles Frederick Worth 11. Characteristics of Art Nouveau women's and men's clothing 12. History of sportswearman figure
