Learning outcomes
This subject is aimed at introducing the students to contemporary shoe-making companies, shoe design studios and shoe designers in the world market. Students will also present their views of current trends.
The student is able to actively search for their own view of the given problems.
Prerequisites
Basic knowlage of shoeworld.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of a presentation given by the student

80% attendance at lectures and seminars. Completion of a presentation on an assigned topic. The result of a subject examination is expressed on a six-point scale: A "výborně" (i.e. "excellent"), B "velmi dobře" (i.e. "very good"), C "dobře" (i.e. "good"), D "uspokojivě" (i.e. "satisfactory"), E "dostatečně" (i.e. "sufficient"), F "nedostatečně" (i.e. "fail"). Watch and be aware of new trends presented on WGSN.com and watch TED talks on design and science.
