Course content

1. Creation of a shoe collection in the Bata company 1900-1945 (sources of inspiration, Instruktor magazine, stages of including designs in the collection, scope of the collections submitted) 2. A cross-section of footwear production at Bata 1894-1945 (characteristics of the best-selling designs - ségliques, plimsolls, meltonks, tramps, galoshes, sports shoes) 3. Production of Bata footwear during World War II (clogs, war collection for the German Wehrmacht) 4. Company catalogues of footwear and poster advertising in the 1930s 5. instructional and advertising films produced by FAB (Bata Film Studios with a focus on footwear production) 6. Important shoe companies in Bohemia and Moravia in the first half of the 20th century (Vávra Prague, Krása Brno, Viktorin Brno, Humanic Jihlava)
