Course content
- focus on current trends in the field, - issues of the influence of technological and software development on the creative processes and self-realization of the designer, - basic parameters and definitions of visual communication - the issue of visual literacy - personalities: Otto Neurath, Henry Dreyfuss, Gerd Arntz, Ladislav Sutnar, Charles Bliss, Miroslav Klivar, Otl Aicher, Ladislav Kessner, Tufte, Mc Luhan, Elkins, etc.

- the student can list what visual communication is - the student can explain how writing and infographics work in public space - the student can describe how dynamic and static visual identity works - the student explains the principle of legibility and comprehensibility of visual symbols - the student understands the differences in types and types of fonts with regard to their use in visual communication
